The Food Services ministry at Cottage Hill serves over 83,000 meals per year:
• 25,000+ to homebound
• 12,000+ to Wednesday’s Dinner on the Hill
• 36,000+ to our Cottage Hill Christian Academy students
• 10,000+ to other events throughout the year
We have three employees and over 60 volunteers. Our Meals on Wheels ministry has been delivering a hot meal 5 days a week to the homebound of our community for over 30 years. If you have questions or would like to get involved in this ministry please contact Alice Harvill at 251-660-2441.
Dinner on the Hill
It is served every Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall from 4:30PM to 6:15PM. Each meal is served with your choice (2) of freshly prepared side items, and a yeast roll or cornbread, iced tea, coke products and fresh brewed Leroy Hill coffee. We also offer a full service kid’s menu. Adults are $6 – Kids are $3 (Toddlers through kindergarten are free)

Leah Chinnis Lott, Food Services Manager
Leah is a Mobile and CHBC “born and raised” CHCA graduate who attended the University of Alabama for restaurant management. Leah then graduated No.1 in her class at the Culinard after completing an externship at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear. Leah is chef and owner of Grits and Grub Food Truck, voted one of Mobile’s Favorite Food Trucks during her first year in business. Leah and her husband Alex, a Mobile Police Officer, are “parents” to LEO, the black lab and Maverick, the German shepherd.
