55+ ministry...

The 55+ Ministry at Cottage Hill is vitally important to who we are as a church. Our goal is to challenge those that are in the “Second Half” of life to make it their best half. It should be a time of “ReFirement” not retirement! No conversations about rocking on the front porch will be found here! At CHBC, we seek to encourage Senior Adults to find out what God wants them to be doing in their “Second Half” and then help equip them to do it.

Giving our members hands-on mission opportunities is the heart and soul of this ministry. Whether it is through mission trips, carrying meals to those in our area who cannot make a meal for themselves, or spending time with those who are homebound, our 55+ Ministry actively gives a tangible touch of Jesus’ love in our community and beyond. At CHBC, Senior Adults are all about making a difference for God in our world, not only in the second half – but the “Best Half of Life”!

Love to sing? Come join the Joy Singers on Wednesdayts! Like to travel? With monthly events planned both in-town and out-of-town, the 55+ Ministry offers a great opportunity for you to grow and fellowship together in the Lord. In addition to mission opportunities, we are to be actively studying God’s Word. At Cottage Hill, we provide Bible study for couples and singles in the 55+ area.
