As you visit one of our Adult Bible Study classes, you will come to know new friends and have fellowship that will be a haven from the busy world in which we live. In the Adult Ministry at CHBC, you’ll find that the friends from your Bible Study class will be there for you through the good times and the bad… because that’s what friends are for!

In this vitally important ministry area, our class leaders teach God’s truths with application to everyday life. Class members want to personally care for you. And because we are a part of a world that desperately needs to know God’s love, each Bible Study class is encouraged to carry out ministry through mission projects both locally and around the globe. Our Adult Ministry is touching the world from right here at Cottage Hill!

2008 Married Adult Events

Bible Study Leadership Meetings: Monthly meetings for all Bible Study Workers in Young/Median Married Adults. All meeting times are on Sundays from 8:15-8:45a.m. held in Bldg. H, in Room #6208. Dates will be announced. This is a time for encouragement, communication, and information.

Married Life On The Hill: What is Married Life on the Hill? Not what you’d think! Married Life on the Hill is not a marriage seminar, but rather a relaxed, entertaining evening specifically for young/median married couples, with dessert and coffee, great music, lots of laughs, and creative programming – all designed to encourage and celebrate marriage! Married Life on the Hill wants to be part of your plan to spice up your marriage! Next date will be in May 16th, 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m.  Ed Litton, Sr. Pastor of North Mobile Baptist will be our Speaker.  Tickets will be $15.00 per couple.  Only room for the first 75 couples.

Marriage Retreat: A weekend getaway designed for married adult couples to help build marriages-God’s way! This retreat is a time of renewal, discovering God’s plan for intimacy and marriage, plus lots of fun! Tentative fall date: Fall 2008. More details to be announced.
