Single adults are one of the most transient groups within the
life of the church. Many have graduated from college, are out there
starting careers, and are simply looking for a place to belong.
Research shows that 1 out of every 6 households will move once
a year. With over 80 million single adults in the United States,
we are a nation on the move! But apart from nomadish behavior,
most single adults crave fellowship and rich relationships that
can last a lifetime. That’s why the Singles’ Ministry
exists at Cottage Hill… to be a place that you can belong!
In the Singles’ Ministry at CHBC, you will find everything
from Bible studies to conferences to crawfish boils. A great place
to not only find deep, scriptural truths and teachings, the Singles’ Ministry
is a fabulous place to find Christ-like friends and fellowship.
A seasonal, weekly Bible Study Night Out (Bible Study followed
by a great activity) and an in-depth class on Sundays provide opportunities
for spiritual maturity with other same-aged singles. Whether you
are single in your 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, or 50’s,
you are sure to find a class that is tailored just for you. |

In addition to our weekday Bible Studies,
the Singles’ Ministry has opportunities galore for serving
God and others both locally and overseas. An annual mission trip
gives single adults the chance to share God’s love in a tangible
way with others. Weekly visitation and outreach provide an opportunity
to let other singles in our community know how much we care for
them. Combine all this with fellowship adventures like skiing in
the Rocky Mountains, hanging out at the Shrimp Festival in Gulf
Shores, or a game night at home, the Singles’ Ministry at
CHBC is a perfect fit for those looking for a place to belong… and
