Our Recreation and Sports Outreach Ministry has something for everyone! The Sports Outreach ministry at CHBC exists to encourage believers through participation in sports leagues, fitness classes, ballet, gym memberships, and events, as well as introduce people to Jesus Christ.

Pre-School Ballet 1: (2-4 yrs) Tuesdays 3:15 pm This class focuses on the art of ballet, learning how to do balancing steps, taking turns and following directions.
Pre-School Ballet 2: Tuesdays 3:45 pm This class focuses on the art of ballet, learning how to do balancing steps, taking turns and following directions
Beginner/Intermediate Ballet: (5-7 yrs) Tuesdays 4:15 pm This class focuses on ballet barre work, floor work and technique for each individual dancer’s level.
This barre-based class use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements.” Class incorporates light handheld weights to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work. Bring a mat and water for this great, low-impact, effective workout.

ZUMBA® is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO.” The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 5:45 pm Walk-ins $5 | 4 Week Package $30 (must be used consecutively)
Research points to the positive impact physical activity can have on the lives of older adults. Staying active as we age can aid in preventing the onset of diseases such as heart disease, and controlling other conditions such as arthritis and diabetes. To help older adults get the exercise they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle, there’s a fun solution called Silver Sneakers Fitness Program now being offered at The ROC. Classic This class is designed to help with agility, balance, coordination and activities for daily living by increasing muscular strength and range of movement. Tuesdays @ 10:15 am & Fridays @ 9 am Circuit The circuit class offers low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper body work using hand held weights, elastic tubing and the Silver Sneakers ball. Mondays @ 9:00 am Yoga The Yoga class, a class designed for ALL participants, focuses on poses and postures to improve breathing, flexibility, balance, muscular strength and endurance and joint range of movement. Wednesdays @ 9:00 am.
Thursday mornings@ 10:15 am. No cost for Silver & Fit & Silver Sneakers card holders. $1 per class for non-card holders. Open to everyone.
This class is perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. Class focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance! Come join the fun!
Available Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 8 am-10 am. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Children must be the sibling/dependents of person attending class. Email or call 660-2426. Cancel reservations in advance to avoid fees.
