wall captain's responsibilities

  • Be an encourager to Day Captains to perform duties to enhance "Watchmen on the Wall", church prayer, & all for total devotion and reliance on God.
  • To perform all Day captains duties for any vacant Day Captain positions
  • To pass leadership information to Day captains as advised by the Coordinator. Contact Day Captains with meeting information, special events, or procedural changes.
  • To recruit to fill Day captain vacancies with qualified individuals.
  • To contact and encourage members of Cottage Hill Baptist Church to join the Watchman Prayer Ministry, specifically your wall: or if not, pass their name to another wall/day Captain.
  • Attend all Watchman leadership meetings unless otherwise committed.
  • Answer questions that arise from Day Captains. The Wall captain will get coordinator involved in any decisions that need his guidance.
  • Help at the Watchman Table as needed by the Table Coordinator
  • To have a servant's heart-show Christ's love in all situations.
