Here's the news on Pastor Thomas and his visit to MD Anderson:

His doctors have said there is no evidence of cancer in his body at all. He
is officially declared "in remission". Pastor wanted all of you to know as
soon as possible. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and extravagant grace
to the Thomas Team during this journey. Thank you for praying!

He goes back in November for a check-up.

Upward Soccer
Upward Soccer registration for K4 through 6th grade boys and girls begins Monday, July 28. Early registration cost per child is $65. After August 22, the cost is $75. Deadline to register is August 23. Make checks payable to CHBC. Registration forms & fees may be dropped off at the Sports Outreach Office anytime between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Evaluations and games will be held at Cottage Hill Christian Academy. Evaluations will be held Saturday, August 23. Every child must attend an evaluation. Coaches and Referees
If you love the game of soccer and are interested in coaching and/or refereeing, our Upward Soccer league is the place for you! Our 6-week season will run from September 20 through October 25. Practices begin the week of September 8. Coach and Referee applications are available in the Sports Outreach office.
