Discover Cottage Hill is a requirement for all new members, but attending the class does not mean you must become a member. She Leads Galentines Worship Night

Men’s Wing Night (All You Can Eat)
Men, this one’s for you! Join us Thursday, January 22, at 6:00 pm for Men’s Wing Night featuring all-you-can-eat wings and a hot sauce challenge that separates the bold from the brave. This night kicks off our Men’s Study, so come hungry, bring a friend, and get ready for great food, good laughs, and strong fellowship. $15 a ticket, don’t miss it!

House of Prayer (prayer service) House of Prayer midweek service is a focused time for believers to connect deeply with God through intense worship, spontaneous and guided prayer, concise Bible teaching (on prayer itself), sharing testimonies, all aimed at fostering intimacy, seeking breakthrough, and making the church a place where God's presence dwells, moving beyond just programs to a lifestyle of prayer. Men and women are invited to join us in the worship center for an hour designed to help you to reconnect with God and realign your week.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
YOU’RE INVITED TO CHRISTMAS AT COTTAGE HILL! Come celebrate EMMANUEL with us!
Join us on December 24th at 5:00 PM for a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. This is one of our favorite evenings of the year with our church family! Join us for a candlelight service, hot chocolate, and special photobooths! Some families like to dress up for this service, and some families will be casual. You are welcome in whatever your family feels most comfortable wearing. We will not have childcare and would love for your children to join everyone in family worship. This service is in-person only.

LWYL Christmas Box Delivery
It’s that special time of year when we come together to share the love of Jesus through Love Where You Live outreach projects! This Christmas season, we’re preparing gift boxes for members of the AHEPA units across Mobile and Baldwin County bringing joy, encouragement, and the hope of Christ to local seniors.
Father-Son Christmas Breakfast and Manger Build
Celebrate the season together at our Father-Son Christmas Breakfast on Saturday, December 6th, from 8:00–10:00 AM! Enjoy breakfast, build your own manger, and take a moment to reflect together on the meaning of the manger and the Savior who came to it.

Jingle Jam
It’s the most WONDERFUL time of the year... and we’re throwing a party big enough for the whole family! Join us for Jingle Jam, a high-energy, joy-filled Christmas experience your whole crew will love! We will kick off the night at 6:00 PM with a Jingle Jam party featuring games, prizes, music, and lots of crazy Christmas fun! Then your family can choose from holiday festivities across our campus designed just for kids, along with special experiences for Preteens and Students. Food trucks will also be available for those who would like to purchase dinner. University of Mobile Christmas Spectacular
We are excited to kick off the Christmas season as we host the University of Mobile Alabama School of the Arts presents “Christmas Spectacular 2025!” This holiday tradition lights up the stage with four breathtaking performances from November 20-23. 55+ ANNUAL THANKSGIVING BASKETS AND LUNCHEON
This event is always such a blessing to all who attend. We meet and put together beautiful Thanksgiving baskets for our homebound members and then we have lunch together before we go out and deliver them. We need plenty of people to help assemble the baskets and then to help deliver them. Cost is only $7 for the meal!! Register and pay at the 55+ Desk or Office by Sunday, Nov.16th.
Grandparent Lunch and Learn
Join Brian Young and Ronnie McCarson in the Fellowship Hall for a sandwich lunch, group discussion and a short video on how we can best impact our grandkids for Christ. Reservations must be made by noon Wednesday, November 12th by signing up at or calling the 55+ office at 251-660-2425. Come and find out how much you have in common with other grandparents who might be experiencing the same things you are in relating with their grands. Don’t miss it! Parent-Child Dedication
Parent-Child Dedication is a special moment for families to publicly commit to raising their kids to know, love, and follow Jesus. It includes a family dinner and time of preparation and commitment on Thursday evening, as well as a time of dedication on Sunday morning. When registering, parents should make plans to attend both dates. All ages of children are welcome to participate, so register by October 26 and join us on November 6 and 9 for Parent-Child Dedication
Baptism Sunday

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it—there’s Good News! Join us for Encounter, a FREE one-night event designed for college students to connect, worship, and hear the life-changing truth of the Gospel. We’ll be diving into what it means to carry the Good News in our everyday lives.
Expect an unforgettable night filled with Worship, free food, games & door prizes, silent disco, and more! Come hang out, bring a friend, and experience what the Good News is really all about. The headline is clear: Jesus is the Good News. Come and encounter Him.
HYPEFEST
The night will be packed with inflatables, free food, giveaways, worship, a silent disco, and a costume contest—plus plenty of surprises along the way. It’s completely free and designed to be a fun, safe space where students can connect, celebrate the season, and invite their friends to experience an unforgettable night. She Leads
Ladies, make plans to attend She Leads, an evening created to encourage and empower women of all ages. Join us for powerful worship and an inspiring message from our guest speaker, Donna Gaines. Before the main event, enjoy dinner and shop from a unique selection of local vendors offering everything from boutique fashion and handmade pottery to baked goods, children’s clothing, and more.
Shopping and FREE coffee will be open from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, with food served from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. The main session will follow, featuring worship and a message you won’t want to miss!

Singing at The Steeple
Join us on Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00 AM for a special morning of worship at the historic Steeple in downtown Mobile, featuring The Amazing Greys choir, The Hill Brothers, and all your favorite hymns. Grandparents' Day
Join us for a Picnic-Themed Grandparents' Day! on Sunday, September 7, right after the 10:30 service! Enjoy games, prizes, lunch, ice cream, and inflatables for all ages.
Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for kids. RSVP is required—sign up online at cottagehill.org/evetns or register at the 55+ desk. Deadline to register is Wednesday, August 27.
Bizzy Moms
Bizzy Moms will begin September 3 at 9:30. This is a ministry to stay-at-home moms facilitated by older moms who serve as mentors. Free childcare is available for the monthly meetings. There is a need for childcare volunteers to serve for 3 hours once a month. A registration and information table will be in the atrium beginning August 17. Contact Donna Spivey to volunteer or register.

Men’s Bible Study | Begins Tuesday, August 27

Man Talk
Whether you're a father, a son, or simply a man looking to grow in your faith and leadership, Man Talk is for you. Join us for a powerful evening of encouragement, brotherhood, and spiritual growth as we welcome guest speakers Brodie Croyle and his father John Croyle. Brodie, a former University of Alabama and NFL quarterback, now serves as the President and CEO of Big Oak Ranch, a Christ-centered home for children needing hope and healing. His father, John Croyle, founded Big Oak Ranch more than 45 years ago after walking away from a promising NFL career to follow God's call. Together, they bring a legacy of faith, fatherhood, and leadership.

Grief Share
GriefShare Begins Wednesday, August 13
If you’re walking through the pain of loss, you don’t have to do it alone. GriefShare is a 13-week, Christ-centered support group designed to help you navigate the journey of grief and find hope and healing. We’re offering two class options: Morning Group: 9:00–10:30 AM Evening Group: 6:00–7:30 PM. Both sessions meet weekly on Wednesdays beginning August 13. Whether you’re newly grieving or it's been some time, you are welcome to join!
