Serve at Cottage Hill

Our volunteers are the driving force behind everything we do. From greeting guests on Sunday mornings to rocking babies in the nursery, our volunteers make an impact for the Gospel every day. We couldn’t do ministry without you!

Below you will find our most common areas of need. Check out the many opportunities for you to serve at Cottage Hill!

Places to Serve

  • Cottage Hill Kids

At Cottage Hill, we seek to foster a safe and loving environment for kids of all ages to learn about who God is and who God says they are. This means we need volunteers to engage with our kids and teach them about Jesus in a fun, high-energy setting and to help guarantee their safety by facilitating our secure check-in system. All volunteers will receive appropriate training and must pass a background check. For more information about volunteering with Cottage Hill Kids, take a moment to fill out the form below!

  • Cottage Hill Preteens

Our 5th and 6th graders are at a unique time in their lives and faith development, and they need leaders who will love them and guide them during this exciting time in their lives! If you’d be interested in serving in Cottage Hill Preteens, let us know below!

  • Cottage Hill Students

Cottage Hill Students is a high-energy environment designed to engage students and demonstrate the love of Christ in a way that makes sense. As a volunteer with our student ministry, you’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with our teenagers and share Christ on a personal level. For more information, fill out the form below and someone will be in touch!

  • 55+ Ministry

Our 55+ Ministry is always looking for ways to serve their community. As a volunteer with our senior adults, you’ll have the opportunity to visit our homebound members and be the hands and feet of Jesus right in their homes. These are our friends who are no longer able to join us in person. Our kitchen staff provides hot meals as a way to serve those in need, and we’re always looking for drivers! If you have a vehicle and time to spare during the week, we need you! For more information about getting involved in our 55+ Ministry, fill out the form below and someone will be in touch!

  • Guest Services

First impressions matter, and here at Cottage Hill we take it very seriously. Every weekend, we have new visitors driving onto our campus, and we have one chance to make them feel like part of our family. We need parking lot greeters, door holders, ushers, and cafe servers that are willing to go the extra mile to make our guests feel welcomed and loved. If you’re interested in being part of this team, fill out the form below and indicate which area you would prefer to serve in!

  • Tech Team

Our tech team oversees all of the audio, video, and lighting systems for our services and events. Volunteers are needed to help create an excellent and distraction-free environment for worship. Training is available for all positions, and no experience is necessary. Fill out the form below and someone will be in touch shortly!

  • Photography Team

As part of the Photography Team, you’ll help share our heart for Jesus with people before they ever come through our doors. Your images will be used online, on social media, and across our campus! Previous photography experience is preferred, but not necessary. To get involved, fill out the form below and someone will be in touch soon!

  • Cottage Hill Worship

Our worship ministry exists so that our community can experience the grace, love, and power of Jesus through biblical and passionate worship. We gather each week, not to sing songs, but to invite people into an intimate experience with our Savior while teaching teach them to continue that practice in their everyday.

If you would like to connect with others, using your talents to serve with us, we would love for you to join our worship team, band, or orchestra! (Audition required.)

  • Prayer Team

At Cottage Hill, we believe prayer is an essential part of our lives as individuals and as a church. Prayer is the place where we experience and express intimacy with God. It is also the place from which we derive power for life and ministry. Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, our Prayer Team gathers to pray for God’s intercession in the needs of our church, our city, and our nation. No one is asked to pray publicly. You can show your interest in joining the prayer team by completing the form below!

  • ROC

The ROC is here to serve both the church and the community. As a volunteer at the ROC, you have a unique opportunity to share the love of Jesus with members of our community who might not attend church. Our volunteers are the face of the ROC and represent our heart: to connect people to Jesus Christ and one another through health and fitness. A friendly smile and willing, cheerful spirit are all it takes! All volunteers will receive proper training and are required to pass a background check. For more information about volunteering in the ROC, fill out the form below.
